Giornate di studio a N. York nel Center for Arts and Science, 32 di Waverly Place o 31 Washington Place. Nei giorni 24 e 25 settembre 2009, a cura del Center for Ancient Studies, incontri annuali in onore di Larissa Bonfante. Daranno tono e prestigio a questi incontri sia la sede prescelta sia i relatori che si avvicenderanno, tutti docenti emeriti e ben noti nel mondo accademico per il loro contributo allo studio e alla conoscenza del mondo antico. Certamente la sede non è molto agevole per i docenti italiani ed europei, come potrebbe essere Edinburgo o Dublino, ma grazie ai voli low cost vi potrebbero essere occasioni molto favorevoli per gli interessati.
